Haitians in Tech is a global network dedicated to empowering Haitian professionals, students, and innovators through technology, education, and collaboration.
Our mission is to bridge opportunity gaps by developing digital tools and open-source projects that strengthen civic engagement, government transparency, and economic mobility across the Haitian diaspora.
We partner with local governments, educational institutions, and private sector leaders to advance digital transformation in Haiti. Our initiatives—such as the VWA project and the Haiti City Portal—equip individuals with hands-on experience in civic technology, software development, and entrepreneurship.
While our mission centers on Haiti, we welcome collaborators of all backgrounds who are passionate about STEM education, civic technology, and learning about international digital infrastructure needs. Those interested in broader Caribbean development can also draw valuable insights from our work in Haiti.
Through community-driven programs, workshops, and events, Haitians in Tech fosters a new generation of civic-minded, tech-savvy professionals committed to building a smarter, more connected future for Haiti.
